Sitting down and being lazy. Something that I don't get to do a lot. But thankfully I've been able to do that recently, with a few exceptions. God, the past few months have been non-stop for me and I think if I would have gone much longer, everyone here would have been able to witness Kristen Bell going crazy. I'm sure it wouldn't be a pretty sight, but you might be able to get some laughs out of it. Nobody should be able to sit here and say that if you watched them go crazy, you'd get some laughs. But I honestly believe that you would. I mean, I'd probably start with a scream. Then I might throw a fit, followed by grabbing and pulling on my hear. After that, I'd probably throw in another scream, just to sort of seal the deal, so to speak. Now that you read what it would be like, keep an eye because you never know if may or may not happen. And I'm sure nobody would want to miss it.
As for work, God, it never stops. Couples Retreat came out at the beginning of the month. That movie was so much fun to make, so I was glad to find out that it was the number one movie in America the first weekend out. Seriously, that is some of the best news an actor can hear really. Sure we all act because we love it and we want to entertain people, but we all love it when our projects, our babies, do well and many people actually watch them. Nobody wants a movie to flop because then you feel as if you didn't do your best and that you may have possibly failed your fans. But we're not going to think about that! Now, I just had Astro Boy come out this past weekend, and for it to be number six it's first weekend isn't the best, but I'm happy. That means many people went to see it. I'm really proud of that project because it was our way of bringing Astro Boy to America. He's real popular over in Japan, but not too many people have heard of him over here. So now we have the movie out there and hopfully he'll be as famous here as he is in Japan.
Now that I have time off, I plan on spending much needed time with Shane. The poor boy has suffered so much with my busy schedule. Of course he traveled with me as I had to promote the movie and go to the premieres, but that's nothing like just sitting at home being by ourselves. Of course, we're never really by ourselves because of my lovely dogs, but we love them and we certainly don't mind them wanting to be around us constantly and wanting out love. Shane's finding out how hard it can be to divide you love betweent your loved one and three dogs. Especially my babies. They like attention and if mom's not giving it to them, you have to. And if nobody's paying them any attention, they rebel by doing strange things around the house. I don't know why, but they are big friends of pay backs. If they don't get attention, they go into another room and do something you wouldn't think a dog would do. That, or they'll do whatever they can to get someone's attention. Things like bark, do tricks, nose their way into your view so that you give them attention. It can be annoying, but I really do love them.
Now that I've written my update, my attention is going to back to this hockey game that is both pissing me off and exciting me. I'm serious. I'm on the edge of my seat! Go Wings! :)
